Swimming & Kayaking
Cliffhanger has a fabulous cobble beach, with shallow swimming, note: water can be refreshing, bring your wet suit if you can't brave the elements. Most of the time the water is very calm but it can change quickly and get rough, check the weather. Water sports at own risk.

Another fabulous place to canoe or kayak is at Emmett Lake.

There is a boat launch at Lions head or Dyers Bay..
